ADDITIONAL SERVICES:

It is our privilege to have the opportunity to provide a safe, secure environment in which to live.  Trillium Springs is designed for the Independent Senior.

We encourage our tenants to continue with your daily routines and utilizing the services in the community.

As we all know, there are times in life when additional help is needed whether due to illness or injury.  In those cases where temporary or occasional help is needed we have comprised a list of community agencies and people who can give assistance.  The Trillium Springs staff is available to help with making the needed contacts for those services if it is so desired.  We encourage family members to also be a part of these decisions so everyone is aware of what is occurring.

MEALS:

  Lunch and dinner meals can be purchased.  These meals are provided through the Newaygo Medical Care Facility and can be delivered to your door or enjoyed in the main dining area.  Meals can be provided on a temporary basis or continual depending on the need.

LUNCH MEAL - $5.00 this is the larger meal of the day and is served hot

EVENING MEAL - $4.00 this meal is a boxed meal and is delivered at noon with the noon meal-no prep work is required other than possibly heating something in the microwave.

HOUSEKEEPING:

 The Newaygo Medical Care staffs several housekeepers.  If housekeeping is requested and a staff member is available they will be scheduled with you.  If no one is available we will work with you in finding someone in the community.

LAUNDRY:

 Laundry services can be provided through the Newaygo Medical Care Facility  for a per pound fee.

NURSING SERVICES:

There are many home health care agencies in this area.  When nursing services are required it is always best to get a recommendation for your family doctor.  If you need assistance with this the Trillium Staff will work with you.

TRANSPORTATION AND SENIOR SERVICES THROUGH COMMISSION ON AGING:

Newaygo County Commission on Aging offers many senior services.  Transportation for shopping, errands, and hair appointments in Fremont can be provided for a $2.00 round trip fee.  These services are offered Monday-Thursday and must be scheduled in advance with COA. 

Medical Appointments:  Transportation to medical appointments are provided in Newaygo County for a $4.00 fee.  a 3-5 day notice must be given to COA.  For out of county specialist appointments only there is an $8.00 fee.

Senior Meals are provided M-Th at NCCS for a fee of $1.50.  Transportation is provided to and from NCCS for $2.00.  You must call 1 day in advance to schedule the meal.
